News Associates’ annual journalism conference JournoFest is back for its seventh year!

Panel: What makes great journalism?
Our panel of experts will share their knowledge on what makes a good story/column/TV show.
Kamal Ahmed – News Movement editor-in-chief and co-founder and Society of Editors president
Jane Moore – ITV Loose Women panellist and columnist for The Sun
Samantha Washington – Sky News presenter
David Woode – The Times crime correspondent
Panel: What’s the next big thing in journalism?
Our speakers will discuss what they think could be the next big journalism developments or trends.
Andrew Colley – Newsquest Oxfordshire regional editor
Madhumita Murgia – Financial Times artificial intelligence editor
Will Payne – The Sun director of digital and head of The US Sun
Our panels will be chaired by News Associates deputy managing editor Graham Dudman and will include time for questions from the audience.
The day will also include plenty of time for networking between trainees, speakers and our special guests.
JournoFest 2023 will take place in our Twickenham newsroom – and be livestreamed – on Saturday March 25 and is exclusively for News Associates and The School of Journalism trainees.
