Journalism summer school

Our two-week summer school is a practical course introducing you to the basics of all forms of journalism.

Based in our Twickenham newsroom you’ll cover news and feature writing, data and digital journalism, social media, photography, broadcast journalism and more.

Our summer school is hands-on and aims to provide foundation skills suitable for all age groups.

Many will join us as a way of dipping their toe into the water and after two weeks we are confident they will be ready to take the plunge.

We pride ourselves on the individual attention we give to our trainees as they think about entering this most satisfying and exciting of professions.

Sessions are led by our award-winning training team and there will be talks from industry guest speakers.

You will also get a chance to produce stories for our partner publications.
